Join us at Cooper Cabin Pioneer Homestead on Sunday, August 11 for our first Pioneer Festival and Primitive Craft Show. Enjoy the peaceful grounds while experiencing what life was like for our ancestors. Did you know that “Aunt” Nancy Cooper lived in the cabin over 100 years with no running water or furnace! She enjoyed having electricity in the cabin during the last 3 years she lived! The Herbal Thymes Club members will be there to explain the use of herbs and their uses in everyday life as well as a bee-keeper who will share knowledge of bees and honey. Some children’s music and a quilter will be with us too! Check out our crafters from “Primitive Imperfections” and “All About Reclaimed by Jeff Double”.
The grounds and cabin will be open from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is free! Lunch and various items including craft items will be available for purchase, cash only. Prices start at $1.
